Neck tension is on the rise...fact
Thanks to the overuse of mobiles; stress; longer working hours and lack of exercise - neck tension is on the rise. But there are some simple things that you can do right now to help prevent neck tension developing.
10 hacks to help prevent neck tension...
1️⃣Avoid neck strain from using your phone - especially messaging or scrolling through social media!
2️⃣Use a hands free device if you spend a lot of time on the phone.
3️⃣Make sure your computer monitor or laptop is at eye level.
4️⃣Is your pillow supporting your neck or do you need a new one?
5️⃣Keep your neck muscles strong by doing short sets of strengthening and stretching exercises throughout the day. One of the simplest exercises to do is the chin tuck exercise
6️⃣Stay well hydrated through drinking plenty of water every day
7️⃣Carry any weight evenly - especially if you commute to work
8️⃣Have a good look at your posture - how bad is it!? How are you sitting at your desk? How are you sitting in the evening?
